ABB Selected as Excellent Graduate Tutor Team of Hainan University

In order to deeply implement the spirit of documents such as "Opinions on Accelerating the Reform and Development of Graduate Education in the New Era" and "Code of Conduct for Graduate Tutor Guidance," assist in the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, deeply serve the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy in Hainan Province, publicize and commend excellent graduate tutors and graduate tutor teams with outstanding achievements in fostering character and civic virtue in graduate education work, and demonstrate leadership and vigorously promote the construction of the graduate tutor team in Hainan Province, the Department of Education of Hainan Province organized the third selection of "Excellent Graduate Tutors" and "Excellent Graduate Tutor Teams."

On August 28, Hainan University announced the selection results of the third "Excellent Graduate Tutors" and "Excellent Graduate Tutor Teams." The "Algal Bioactive Substances and Bioproducts Tutor Team" was awarded the title of the Third "Excellent Graduate Tutor Team" of Hainan University. The team hosts National Key R&D Program International Cooperation Key Projects, National Key R&D Program Synthetic Biology Key Special Topics, National Natural Science Foundation General Programs, and major provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects. Relying on the projects carried out, they have guided multiple graduate students to win honors such as National Scholarships, Provincial Excellent Dissertations, Excellent Graduates, and Merit Students; and guided multiple students to participate in the "National Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program" and the National Youth Science Popularization Innovation Experiment and Works Competition, achieving excellent results.

It is reported that the selection results of the third "Excellent Graduate Tutors" and "Excellent Graduate Tutor Teams" of Hainan University were produced through layers of screening, including individual application, organizational recommendation, expert review, and university approval. A total of 30 "Excellent Graduate Tutors" and 14 "Excellent Graduate Tutor Teams" were selected. This selection aims to commend tutors and tutor teams with outstanding achievements in fostering character and civic virtue in graduate education, play a demonstrative and leading role, and promote the construction of the university's graduate tutor team.
