Speaker Introduction:
Deputy Dean of the School of Laboratory Medicine (School of Life Sciences), Wenzhou Medical University; Council Member of the Zhejiang Society for Microbiology; Outstanding Communist Party Member of Zhejiang Universities; Wenzhou "551 Talent".
He is mainly engaged in research on the response of harmful algal blooms to climate change, detection and analysis of pathogens imported at ports, and toxic effects of environmental health factors. He has successively presided over or participated in 8 projects including the National Major Special Project on Infectious Disease Prevention and Control, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Department of Science and Technology. He has published more than 40 papers in international journals such as Nature Climate Change, authorized 2 patents, and participated in the compilation of 2 monographs.
He serves as a reviewer for numerous international journals. He has won the "Third Prize" of Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Award (Study on Toxic Mechanism and Ecological Effects of Typical Red Tide Dinoflagellates), the "Second Prize" of Zhejiang Ecological Environment Science and Technology (Study on Formation Process, Biological Effects and Mechanisms of Dinoflagellate Red Tides in Offshore East China Sea), and the "Second Prize" of Technical Progress of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (Research and Demonstration of Carbon Sink Capacity of Shallow Sea Shellfish and Algae).
